Prête pour la fin de semaine|Ready For The Weekend

Calvin Harris is the father of my futur kids. I like his work, his dry humor and i think he’s quite handsome. His new album “Ready for the Weekend” comes out on August 17th and the music video for title track was released earlier this week, although the single only comes out on august 10th (!). I have to admit it took me a few times to really start liking it, but one thing is clear, Calvin Harris is trying new things. And like always, some people will love it, others won’t. Personally, I’m enjoying this ode to the Dance Mix 94 era!

En parlant d'Alice|Speaking of Alice

My friend showed me this awesome video slash song by Pogo, an Australian DJ who made entire songs just by using sounds found in, among others, Alice in Wonderland. The video that goes with the song “Alice” is by far the best one, but the other songs are still really good (listen to “Lost”). All his songs are available for free download on LastFM.

Mary J Blige et T.I.: La Reine et le "King"|Mary J Blige And T.I.: The Queen and the "King"

T.I. the self-proclaimed King just put out a new video for the song “Remember Me” off of “Paper Trail: Case Closed” the re-release of his last album the well known Paper Trail. In this one he’s side by side by the lady everybody agrees to call the queen of RnB, miss Mary J Blige.

I have to admit that this piece from the royal duo tend to stay in your head. It might not be the video of the year but you will probably find yourself watching it over and over again just so you can listen to the song!

Random Recipe @ Jazz Fest

RandomRecipe
